Thank you , Harris Family, for the use of your beautiful cabin! We, like the others, love the deck & the steam shower! It's a very comfy place & the area is great for hikes and rides on our razor. the arts and crafts festival in Pine was lovely and Fossil Creek was amazing (Except for the ride to and back !) We plan to return as soon as we can plan another trip.

What a great last day! While packing the car Kyle (5) spotted an elk out the front door. A great way to finish our days here. Funny, we hiked for nine miles for 3 days and never saw any thing. We stay at the cabin & see Javelins & an Elk, Can't wait to come back. (oh yeah, and 4 coyotes out back)

Great 3 day run..... Grand kids had a blast. Deck very special, last night 8 large Javelins showed up just below the deck. they cared less that we were watching them with flash lights. Everyone enjoyed hiking around, and especially the coyotes howling. A very nice get a way. Thunderstorms and gentle rain and to top it off Daddy is a chef.

You have a beautiful place. We are thankful we had this opportunity to rent your cabin. the large deck was the best. We grilled, enjoyed the scenery, played board games, read relaxed and just enjoyed the great out doors. We went to the historic Strawberry School House, had a blast at Fossil Creek, and hiking a couple of the near by trails. This is a great retreat from the heat & the hustle and bustle of the Phoenix valley. Our family needed some R & R regrouping, and celebration of our 15th Anniversary. Your place met every requirement !!! The weather was fabulous and we especially enjoyed some rain on our last day. Your Cabin was also nicely stocked with essentials. We would like to come back to enjoy the fall and winter seasons. Thank You !!!

Our stay at your cabin was very relaxing, getting out of the city was a nice change. I especially enjoyed the sound of the creek on the deck. my kids loved playing in the woods and my son loved playing in the water. Fossil Creek was amazing (although scary getting down there!) and rock hunting at the verde was fun We had a great vacation here.

Marlene your place was even better than I imagined!! Chloe's first experience in the snow was magical. She spent most of the time eating the snow and sucking on icicles. We went for walks everyday and went up to Happy Jack to go sledding. We all had a blast and will definitely be back up here very soon.

We loved it here! This was a last minute trip & Marlene was absolutely a pleasure to deal with. This is the most peaceful place ever & we love it! Its much needed after the 60 hour work weeks! My Husband & our little one just love it here.

Enjoyed the week end here. Loved the Patio & Little brook. this is such a cute little town. great guilt shop. If you quilt go check it out. I would have liked better instructions for the shower & suggest laminating them. Also an extra roll of TP for each bathroom. All in all, it was an enjoyable visit & I'd love to come back to the area again.

We have had a wonderful and relaxing time. Exactly what we were looking for! Saturday and Sunday were spent at Happy Jack sledding and playing in the snow. Our girls had a blast! We will think fondly back to this short vacation when we are suffering in the valley heat in a couple of months.

1/29/10 First day me and Liz built a 5' snowman in the drive way. We named him Creed. The night was a blast!!
1/30/10 Going up on the Rim to Play in the snow. Playing in the snow was a blast, everyone is really enjoying themselves. this has been a real treat, thank you ! so much ! Tomorrow is our last day then back to the real world .
1/31/10 Last day, good breakfast, kids playing in the snow. a pack of javelins past threw the property really cool with the snow. The Deck was awesome

We have had the most magical time here. Thank you for your Cabin and amenities! Yesterday it started snowing around noon, and it's still snowing now! The kids had a great fun sledding and it's been a perfect setting for 2 families to make memories together. We will be back. Thank you Harrises.

I loved my stay it was great the Deck was nice. I had a great stay. This is very delightful ! I hope we can stay again. We are glad we picked this house. I wish I lived here and I hope anyone who visits this house likes it.
